Temporary Injunction on Domestic Partnerships Removed

February, 2008

The injunction on the law passed in Oregon's 2007 legislative session allowing domestic partnerships has now been lifted.  This ruling allows same-sex couples who register as domestic partners to be provided many benefits that are given to married Oregonians, including employment related benefits.

This decision could still be appealed.  Cascade will continue to keep you informed as more information becomes available.
