Oregon Employers: Required SB 519 Notice (Mandatory Meeting Ban) Poster Available

Oregon SB 519, which became effective January 1, 2010, prohibits employers from disciplining any employee who refuses to participate in a communications concerning the employer's opinions on religious or political matters - including labor unions. SB 519 also requires ALL Oregon employers to post a notice informing employees of their rights under the new law.

Although this is a required posting, the Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries (BOLI) has chosen not to publish an SB 519 notice. To help you comply with this new law, we've created a notice for you.
