VETS-100 Reporting Site Down

August, 2013

The VETS-100 and VETS-100A reporting systems are not working and employers are not able to submit their reports. It is unknown when the issue will be resolved. However, employers are encouraged to periodically check the VETS website for an update. A similar situation happened last year resulting in an extension of the September 30th filing deadline. For now, no such extension has been made.

As a reminder, federal contractors and subcontractors who have current contracts of $25,000 or more entered into prior to December 1, 2003 are required to submit the VETS-100 form, while contracts or subcontracts of $100,000 or more entered into or modified on or after December 1, 2003 require filing of a VETS-100A form. Contractors with a current contract or subcontract in the amount of $25,000 or more that was entered into before December 1, 2003 (and not modified on or after that date) and a current Government contract or subcontract in the amount of $100,000 or more that was entered into or modified on after December 1, 2003 must submit both the VETS-100A and the VETS-100 Reports.

The deadline for submitting all of these forms is September 30.
