California Publishes Paid Sick Leave Poster

Earlier this week, California published its new paid sick leave poster. All employers must post the poster at any work locations in California by January 1, 2015 – even though the paid sick leave requirements do not go into effect until July 1, 2015. Additionally, California revised its “Notice to Employees” form that employers must provide to new hires in California. The revised form includes information on California paid sick leave, and employers must begin using the new form beginning January 1, 2015. The form can be found here: LC 2810.5 Notice (Revised)
