Giving positive recognition is both a skill and an art, but most of all it’s a commitment. Explore best practices when it comes to providing employees with praise and appreciation. Engage with other employers who value and share your commitment to praise and recognition by sharing both the good and the maybe not so good experiences with spontaneous and organized recognition.

Learn what research says about:

  • How often recognition is needed
  • What impact it can have on the organization as well as the employees
  • The different types of praise and recognition, and
  • How generational or cultural preferences can be a contributing factor

Recognizing whether recognition comes in the form of a pay raise, a bonus, a fancy pen or a pat on the back will differ based on individual organization objectives, yet this session will allow you to explore different options, learn about the do’s and don’ts of praise and recognition, and to identify what might work best for your organization.
