Due to the partial government shutdown, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has delayed the opening of the 2018 EEO-1 submission period until early March.
It has also extended the deadline to file the report to May 31, 2019. The EEOC is telling covered employers to continue to visit their website for an update on the schedule.
As a reminder, employers with 100 or more employees and most federal contractors with 50 or more employees are required to submit this report annually.
