COVID-19 Preparedness at Cascade: We've Got You Covered

Published Thursday, March 12, 2020

It’s times like this that remind us of the importance of health and safety, and we hope you and your loved ones remain healthy.

Like many other organizations, Cascade is carefully watching the health risks posed by COVID-19, and is closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and the Oregon Health Authority.

  • Health and Safety Measures: To protect the health and safety of our members, visitors, and employees, we have undertaken additional measures to clean and sanitize meeting rooms, public areas, restrooms, and frequently touched areas such as door handles and conference tables. Our staff has also been provided with information on appropriate hygienic precautions and are encouraged to stay home when they are sick.

Rest assured, we have instituted protocols to maintain business continuity in the event conditions continue to worsen so that we can provide you with timely support and guidance without interruption.

  • Call Our Helpline: We remain available through phone and email to help you navigate simple or complex issues, including those related to COVID-19 and developing guidelines for both your on-site and remote workers. Various employment laws will be impacted by these new developments. Never hesitate to reach out to us for guidance or to just get a second opinion.

  • Training Sessions: We will continue to provide scheduled training sessions; however, our mode of delivery will transition to webinar-based sessions whenever possible, at least over the next month or so. For any in-person training sessions, we will limit our public gatherings to 25 participants.

As more of your employees begin working remotely to maximize protection during this pandemic, we will work with you to maximize training and professional development opportunities via remote access. Thank goodness for technology!

Note: If you have already registered for a public training session, we will directly communicate with you any changes in delivery method. If you have us scheduled to come on site, we will directly contact you to discuss options.

  • Consultation and Project Support: Cascade’s service delivery will continue uninterrupted. Again, our technology allows for virtual meetings whenever necessary or requested.

We stand ready to help you take care of HR so you can take care of your business.

Thank you!
