Effective July 1st, Governor Brown announced today that face coverings will be required in every Oregon county for all indoor public spaces. Up until today, the mask mandate only applied to Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion, Polk, Hood River, Lincoln and Clatsop counties.

This new guidance applies to both businesses and visitors when in indoor public spaces. Moreover, children under the age of 12, and people with a disability or a medical condition that prevent them from wearing a face covering, will not be required to wear a face mask.

Cascade is still actively monitoring this situation, and will continue to provide additional guidance as information evolves. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
