Governor Brown Extends Face Coverings to Outdoors Effective July 15th

Today, July 13th, Governor Brown announced new statewide safety guidelines in response to a large increase of COVID-19 cases in the past week. Specifically, starting July 15th, face coverings will be required statewide in all outdoor public spaces when a distance of six feet cannot be maintained.

As a reminder, face coverings are currently required in all indoor public spaces. Moreover, Governor Brown announced a ban on indoor social gatherings of more than ten people. At this time, the indoor gathering ban does not affect businesses or churches.
