Last week, the Oregon Employment Department published draft proposed rules for Oregon’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI) program that will begin to take effect in January of 2022. The Oregon Employment Department will be releasing more proposed draft rules over the next several months leading up to the formal rulemaking process in the fall of 2021.
This first set of draft proposed rules address employer and employee contributions. A draft of this set of rules can be read here.
