Today, Governor Brown announced that all remaining COVID-19 health and safety restrictions will be lifted by June 30th, regardless of the current vaccination rate.  If the state achieves the goal of having 70 percent of adults in Oregon receive their first vaccine dose, then restrictions will be lifted before June 30th.  As of today, Oregon is 1 percent shy of this goal.

Governor Brown specifically stated that the “Stay Home, Save Lives” and “Safe and Strong Oregon” orders regarding the state’s mask mandates, county risk levels and other industry and sector specific requirements will all be lifted.  Some mask mandates may continue to be in place per federal law such as in airports, healthcare facilities and in public transportation.

Cascade will continue to monitor this and we will keep you updated once more is known.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
