Yesterday, the Multnomah County Chair announced that beginning Friday, August 13th, all individuals in Multnomah County, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask in indoor public spaces. Masks will be required for all individuals five years of age and older. This executive order is in response to a surge of COVID-19 cases in the county.
Multnomah County is expected to release an executive order later this week, which should better define what is meant by public indoor places and how this will apply to employers.
