The Oregon Employment Department (OED) has begun sending employers notices of claims when employees file for Paid Leave Oregon (PLO) benefits. Many employers are wondering what these notices look like. Members of Cascade can click here to see a sample notice so you know what to expect.
As a reminder, after an employee's application for benefits has been processed, OED will also notify employers whether the employee's application for benefits was approved or denied. If the leave was approved, OED will state the dates and period of leave approved.
Now is also a great time to make sure your PLO policy is updated and accurately reflects your practices.
