Compensation planning is easier and more credible when it is grounded in timely, reliable market data. The 2026/27 Salary Budget Survey is now open, collecting actual and projected pay adjustment data from Oregon and SW Washington organizations to help employers plan salary increase budgets with confidence.

Unlike national surveys, this report is built specifically from local employer data, making it a practical regional resource for organizations that need insight into compensation trends in Oregon and SW Washington. Results are broken out further by region, industry, organization size, and profit status, so participants can compare against data that is more relevant to their workforce and planning needs.

Your participation makes the final report stronger. The more local organizations that contribute, the more useful the data becomes for HR and compensation professionals who are preparing budgets, advising leadership, and making informed decisions about pay increases for the year ahead.

This year, we moved the survey up by one month so results can be released earlier, in early September, giving participants more time to apply the data during their compensation planning process.

The survey is quick to complete and includes just six questions covering:

  • Employee count by group and area
  • Average base pay changes between 7/1/2025 and 6/30/2026
  • Projected average base pay changes between 7/1/2026 and 6/30/2027
  • Short-term performance-based variable pay practices by employee group
  • Average awards as a percent of salary for the last 12 months
  • Projected average awards as a percent of salary for the next 12 months

ALL participants will receive a FREE copy of the report. Contact us to request your unique survey link, which allows you to save your progress and return later, or click here to participate now. Please submit your response by July 31st to receive the free report.

Whether you are building your compensation budget, preparing recommendations for leadership, or looking for a clearer view of local pay increase trends, your participation helps make this resource more valuable for everyone. Thank you for helping strengthen the regional data behind better compensation decisions!
