One of the best things about my job is the opportunity to go inside and learn about the many diverse organizations we have right here in Oregon. Often those organizations turn out to be great partners for any business.

Let me introduce you to NACM Oregon, a recognized business partner for credit and account professionals.

  1. NACM Oregon, an affiliate of the National Association of Credit Management headquartered in Columbia, MD, was founded in 1896 to promote good laws for sound credit, protect businesses against fraudulent debtors, improve the interchange of credit information, develop better credit practices and methods, and establish a code of ethics.
  2. NACM Oregon became the premier resource for business credit and accounts management services. NACM has been helping business credit managers succeed ever since by providing a comprehensive suite of products, services, and tools to thousands of businesses. These products help improve individual company’s financial success through better credit management and accounts receivable practices, resulting in the reduction of accounts delinquency and the avoidance of bad debt write-offs.
  3. The resources provided by NACM Oregon include business credit reports, industry trade groups, professional development, notice and lien services, and several other credit and account receivable services. Also, NACM Oregon operates the longest tenured and successful collection agency in Oregon, established in 1913.
  4. NACM Oregon is headquartered at The Banfield Plaza, a Portland building it owns, and has fifteen dedicated employees who pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service to NACM’s clients.
  5. On February 1, NACM Oregon merged with another successful nonprofit NACM Affiliate in Spokane and become NACM Northwest, a 120-year old nonprofit trade association operated for the benefit of its members.

Cascade is proud to showcase NACM Oregon (now NACM Northwest), where businesses go for expert guidance on managing credit risk.
