Cascade is excited to announce that the 2021 Regional Benefits Survey report is now available!

With 381 participants, this survey report is a great resource for benefits and policies data for Oregon and Washington organizations that want to review their benefits packages and benchmark their benefits and policies against local competition.

Check out great data on common benefit practices including:

  • Time-Off Practices: 14% of respondents offer Juneteenth as a paid holiday, which is a significant rise from last year’s <3%.
  • Life Insurance, Disability, and Retirement Packages: 81% of participants provide a 401(k) match, with 80% of those who provide a percentage match offering a maximum match of 2%-5.9%.
  • Health & Welfare Benefits, including Vision and Dental Insurance: PPO, HDHP, and HMO health plans remain the most popular plan options, with 87%, 29%, and 26% of respondents indicating they offer those plans respectively (multiple selections permitted).
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Practices: 25% of respondents have mandatory DEI training for all employees, with another 13% offering voluntary DEI training.
  • Pandemic and COVID-19 Practices: 14% of respondents have started to hire specifically for remote work, but an additional 14% have returned to their previous hiring practices.

The survey consists of two final reports: a full report containing all participant information, and a nonprofit report, containing nonprofit data only (139 organizations). These final reports are FREE to all member participants, and are significantly discounted for non-member participants. Discounted pricing is also available to nonprofits looking to purchase both pay and benefits data.
