Cascade’s most recent HR Trends Survey asked for feedback on remote and hybrid work plans and how organizations are addressing these plans with return to work.

As businesses continue to transition to the new workplace, organizations have to balance their need for employees in the workplace with employees’ preferences for remote and hybrid work.

Check out these highlights from the results:

  • For positions that shifted to 100% remote during COVID, a majority (69%) have or will be shifting to a hybrid model, while an additional 22% will be continuing to work completely remote.
  • For hybrid workers, 41% of participants have returned their employees to working in the workplace 2-3 pre-established days per week. 35% allow employees to choose their own days they will work in the workplace.
  • The top reasons that organizations report having employees return to the workplace are to improve collaboration (74%), improve company culture (56%), and improve employee engagement (50%).

In the future, Cascade will run a quarterly HR Trends Survey, covering several topics of importance to our members and our staff.
