The 2023 Regional Pay Survey reports are now available! This year, 318 organizations participated from across Oregon and Washington, representing data for 24,353 employees.  From that data we were able to report on 377 positions overall.  Of the 318 participants, 113 were nonprofits, which resulted in 113 positions being reportable in the Nonprofit Report.

Survey Highlights

Compared to 2022, in 2023 there was on average an increase of 6.7% in Oregon’s compensation for positions. While some positions saw significant decreases in compensation, we saw a much larger amount of positions with significant increases. These large changes are likely due to the impact of inflation concerns, combined with recruitment and retention challenges which drove higher wages.

Additionally, Cascade noticed an increased rate in first time survey participants which we love to see.  We also saw a few drops of previous participants. If you are new to Cascade or have had a recent survey contact change and would like more information on the survey, click here to learn more or contact us if you would like to know more about your organization’s participation in the past.
